Mama Buci Honey

Mama Buci (“Mother Honey” in the Bemba dialect) is the largest independent honey producer in Africa. They produce two ethically sourced varieties of raw honey, Winter and Summer, each with its unique flavor profile as determined by the active flora at the time of harvest. Established in 2008, Mama Buci operates in many towns and villages of Zambia, using a co-op system to compensate fairly those who watch the hives in exchange for a share of the honey.
