We import specialty foods products from Europe and baskets from Asia. We sell these products primarily to retailers in the US and Canada. The business was started in 1997 and we sell most of our imports in our store in Chelsea Market in NYC and online at ChelseaMarketBasket.com.

Phone us at our wholesale line 212-727-1484; often times you will need to leave a voice mail message and will get a callback. Due to the nature of our wholesale business, it is difficult for us to have a “live” person to answer the phone on this line throughout the day. Our retail personnel may not be aware of our wholesale procedures.
If we have the product you are ordering in stock, we will ship your order within 3 days business days. Otherwise, we will contact you with information about when you can expect your order. Many of the baskets come in sets and we like to sell them in sets. Sometimes we may sell individuals items from a set if we have a surplus of a size. You must call for information about this.

- All orders shipped FOB NJ or NY (UPS or preferred method)
- Credit References required to establish an account, and must be approved, first order must be done on a credit card.

Shipping Information
Orders typically ship in 1 to 2 business days. If the product is not in stock we will let you know.
Shipping costs are not calculated online. We calculate shipping costs when we pack the order.
Normally we ship wholesale baskets via UPS. We ship from our New Jersey Warehouse.
Shipping large baskets to the West Coast can get expensive. If the freight factor exceeds 20% of the product cost, we will contact you first and discuss shipping options.
To avoid shipping costs you may pick up your order at the warehouse or possibly in our New York store but you MUST make an appointment with us and have a confirmation that we are available at the appointed time.
Large orders can be shipped via trucker. We will work to minimize the shipping cost based on working with UPS and “trucker” options. Baskets can be expensive to ship particularly across the country and because many of them come boxed in oversize boxes according to UPS standards and the larger boxes are friendlier to ship via truck.
